Mixpanel integration

Learn how to populate metrics in Segflow via Mixpanel.

Overview

Flow enables teams to align on their metrics-driven strategy. After populating your Flow map with live data from Mixpanel, you can make sense of how your product metrics ladder up to your business objectives to analyze which of your initiatives are driving impact.

Instructions

  1. In Flow’s sidebar, click on integrations.

  2. Click the “New Integration” button in the top card.

  3. Choose “Mixpanel” as the source.

  4. Enter your API key and Secret key. See here for where to find this info.

  5. Click “Save”.

Adding Mixpanel as a soruce to a metric and a board

  1. Create a new metric and select Mixpanel as source.

  2. Select a query type of “Event”.

  3. Complete the form by either selecting an event of entering a chart URL (like this one:https://app.mixpanel.com/analytics/flow/chart/jkf5qy9b

  4. Update the metric and run its query

  5. You should see the data in the overview tab for the metric
